Vernon Walter Langley, son of Arthur William and Emma Langley received his formal education in Norfolk Virginia and continued his education at RCA School of Electronics. He joined in holy matrimony with Marion Helen Harderman in 1947. Of this union, there were seven children: Arthur, Orion, Marlene, Michael, Ricky, Ruben, aand Marlina. Vernon was employed by Republic Aircraft as an aircraft mechanic for 30 years. He also had a television and radio repair shop for many years, where he acquainted himself with many friends.
